Credit Union Moving Wednesday, June 11th!                                           

With the move around the corner, members have been asking:

 

Q. Why is Teamsters Credit Union relocating to Blaine?

Your credit union Board of Directors recommended relocating our office to Blaine at a special meeting and it was approved by the credit union membership. Teamsters Local 120 is constructing a new union hall in Blaine and the credit union was offered tenancy in that building. This location will allow us the visual exposure we need to grow and reach more Teamsters.

 

Q. When will the credit union be moving to Blaine?

We will be moving our office to Blaine on Wednesday, June 11th, 2008.

Q. Will the credit union office be closed during the move?

Yes, we will be closed on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, June 11th, 12th, and 13th.  We will

re-open for business at the new location on Monday, June 16th at 8:00AM.

 

Q. Will Online Banking or Audio Teller work during the move dates?

The credit union computer, internet, and telephone systems will be shut down during the actual move. Therefore, these services will be temporarily unavailable to members. Please plan ahead with account transactions prior to the office closing on Wednesday, June 11th. Thank you for your cooperation and patience in waiting for services to resume.

 

Q. What about my Debit Card – will it work at an ATM machine or take purchases during the move?

Yes, as long as funds are available in your checking account, there will be no interruption with your Visa Debit Cash Card transactions during the actual move.

 

Q. Will the credit union office hours change at the new location?

To begin, our office hours will remain the same at our new location.

 

Monday – Thursday          8:00AM – 4:00PM

Friday                                     8:00AM – 2:00PM

 

We will be evaluating lobby and phone traffic the first few months we are in the new office and may change our office hours.  We will provide members with a notice that our hours have changed – please stay tuned to your quarterly newsletter for more information.

 

Q. What will happen to the Hennepin Square office location?

We will be closing the office in the Hennepin Square Building.  Our last day of business at our present location will be Wednesday, June 11th, 2008.  The entire Teamsters Credit Union staff will relocate into our new office in Blaine.

 

Q. What is the new address and phone number for the new location?

The building we are moving into is still under construction. A new physical address and phone number will be available soon and provided to all members in a special mailing prior to our move date. Please continue to send all correspondence to us at our current location until further notice.

Name Change

Effective December 1, 2007, the credit union changed its name to "Teamsters Credit Union."

Please make all checks payable to Teamsters Credit Union, effective immediately. The name change allows the credit union to continue to serve you, the current membership, while allowing the credit union to represent all Teamsters under Joint Council 32, which includes the Dakotas and Iowa.

Teamsters Credit Union is dedicated to serving all Teamsters under Joint council 32 with the highest level of personal and professional financial service. It is the goal of this credit union, with our new location, name change, and convenient Online Banking, to reach more Teamsters and grow a stronger credit union for all members under Joint Council 32.

Important Notice Regarding Loans

Effective January 1, 2008, a new Grace Period and Late Fee will be in effect for all existing loans and all new loans taken after January 1, 2008. The Grace Period for all loan payments will now be seven days. If your payment is not received on the schedulded due date, or within the seven day grace period, a $20 late fee will apply. If you are having trouble making your payment on time, please contact us at (612) 378-1447.
